Adventures Therapy Center
Our center provides crucial trauma- and culturally-informed early intervention, including education and specialized therapy for children from birth to five years of age (ages 0-5). We also provide Children's mental health services for ages 7-12 and Family, Adult, and Perinatal mental health services for ages 18 and above
Our interdisciplinary early intervention team provides services such as infant and early childhood mental health, Circle of Security™ Parenting, ADHD parenting group, parent education, and a home visit program.
Counseling Approaches
Our therapeutic approach incorporates the use of play therapy, relationship-based techniques, evidence-based methods, and developmentally appropriate language to enhance understanding and coping in various healthcare experiences.
Our services are specifically tailored to the emotional development of infants and young children, the strengthening of parent-child relationships, and the provision of family support.
Cultural Competence
Cultural competence refers to the ability of individuals and organizations to understand, respect, and effectively interact with people from diverse cultures. This includes being aware of one's own cultural biases and being able to work effectively with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
At Kiddie Adventures is committed to cultural competence by recognizing and valuing diversity, and actively working to create a safe and inclusive environment for all children and families. This may include providing training for staff, developing policies and procedures that promote cultural competency, and actively seeking out diverse perspectives and input in decision-making.
